Sandbox and Beach

This beach trip was such a wake up call to how fast all the kiddos are growing up on us. This trip they all spent the majority of the time in the water and waves. Pretending to be Pirates or Mermaids, it was amazing to watch them transform from sand crashers to wave jumpers. They still enjoyed some down time on the beach while building a castle, who doesn't.

How adorable is this boys first trip to the beach...Alright it's his second, but the first time he was only six weeks old and slept in the carrier all day.
He loved the wind blowing and the waves crashing. He wasn't at all intimidate. In fact, he would crawl right into the waves and looked like a baby sea turtle making his was back to the ocean.

Who knew that Andy loved the Sand? This first experience at our neighborhood park could not even compare to the joy he had at the beach.

Gabe always enjoys heading to the park to make sand angels. One big negative about our park the the absence of other children and shade. This leaves Gabe to wish Anderson was just big enough to build sand castles with him.
